The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine responded to the claim made by Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios that 150 km of the Ukrainian-Hungarian border is in private property and the border guards are denied full access to the land.
“Despite the fact that the plots of land are situated in the immediate area of the state border of Ukraine are in private property, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is guarding the state border to the full extent, patrolling the border and managing other tasks,” the statement says.
