You're reading: 112.ua: Trial of journalist Semena in Crimea postponed to June 5

Zheleznodorozhniy District Court of Simferopol in the annexed Crimea has postponed the hearing in the case of journalist Mykola Semena on June 5. This was reported by Krym.Realii referring to journalist Anton Naumliuk.

The judge took such decision as the case materials read out in court — personal correspondence of the journalist — were in Ukrainian language, which is not quite understood by the Russian defender of Semena — Alexander Popkov. Thus, the process will continue when another journalist’s lawyer, Emil Kurbedinov, is to return.
