The meeting of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov and the Special Envoy of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi took place on July 12. The sides discussed the draft law on the de-occupation of Donbas at the meeting. The press service of the NSDC reported this.
Also, the sides discussed the issue of the profound cooperation between our countries in the security and defense spheres at the meeting. ‘We appreciate the support of Japan in the reformation of the security and defense system of Ukraine’, Turchynov said.
