ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, has proved itself as a reliable partner of Ukraine, which is why Kyiv intends to continue to cooperate with this organization. This was mentioned in the statement released by the press service of Ukraine’s foreign ministry, as ASEAN celebrates its 50th anniversary.
‘On August 8th ten nations of the Southeast Asia mark a significant milestone – 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Throughout the last half a century of multifaceted challenges, ASEAN has demonstrated its resilience and commitment to sustainable development, striving to create an environment of peace and prosperity in one of the world’s most diverse regions,’ the statement says.
