The visit of Petro Poroshenko in Toronto confirmed the strategic support of Ukraine by Canada. This was stated by deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Kostyantyn Yeliseyev, Ukrinform reports.
“The first thing we received from this visit is strategic support from one of the most influential countries in the world. Canada next year will chair the G-7 and it was very important for us before the chairmanship to agree on certain positions, to ensure that the Ukrainian question would be on the G7 agenda, “Yeliseyev said.
