The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) declares a deterioration of the situation with the protection of cultural heritage in the annexed Crimea. This was stated by the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The UNESCO Secretariat published the report of the Director General of the organization in response to the decision of the UNESCO Executive Board “Monitoring of the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine)”, which says about the deterioration of the situation in the territory of temporarily occupied by Russia Crimea in UNESCO’s fields of competence,” it was reported.
