Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, denied the document offered by a group of MPs on May 25. The lawmakers proposed to cancel the fine for wearing and public distribution of the St.George’s ribbon. 19 MPs voted for the bill; however, under the Constitution of Ukraine, no document can be approved by the Ukrainian Parliament unless there are 226 pro’s.
