Over 120 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and over 70 civilians were killed in Donbas in 2017, the process of releasing Ukrainian prisoners is blocked, Verkhovna Rada First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko said.
At a meeting with the Portuguese delegation led by Foreign Minister of this country Augusto Santos Silva in Kyiv on July 10 “Gerashchenko has informed the attendees that over 120 Ukrainian soldiers and over 70 civilians were killed in Donbas this year,” the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada press service said.
Gerashchenko called on Portuguese representatives to address the situation over Crimea.
In efforts undertaken by the Minsk OSCE Group the Ukrainian delegation is calling for the establishment of a fifth working subgroup on border matters in order to begin discussion on transfer of the uncontrolled section of the Russian-Ukrainian border to Ukraine and provision of access to the OSCE mission to the contact line between the opposing sides, she also said.
