Russia’s hybrid military forces have mounted 16 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has said.
“Invaders opened fire on the positions of our troops 16 times. At the same time, the enemy used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements eight times … During the hostilities, two soldiers from the JFO were injured,” the JFO staff said on Facebook on Friday morning.
Illegal armed formations fired at Ukrainian positions near Stanytsia Luhanska, Malynove, Vilny, Shumy, Pivdenne, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Maryinka, Slavne, Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, three enemy militants were killed and another five were wounded.
