As of Tuesday morning, about 500 protesters gathered near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

People gathered on the Constitution Square, Mariyinsky Park and Hrushevskoho Street, where tents and field kitchens are set up, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Some of the gathered people are keeping the national flags of Ukraine and the flags of the New Forces Movement party. People are talking and drinking tea. Patriotic songs are heard from the acoustic systems installed near the stage.

Law enforcement groups are on duty near all the entrances to the parliament building and committees of the Verkhovna Rada. The metal detector frames are installed again on the corners of Hrushevskoho Street.

In general, the situation at 10:00 a.m. is calm.

As reported, on Oct. 29, the National Assembly for a Great Political Reform, Viche, was held near the building of the Ukrainian parliament, in which, in particular, the New Forces Movement party and its leader Mikheil Saakashvili took part. He called for early parliamentary and presidential elections and called the next rally near the Rada building on Nov. 7, when the next plenary session will take place in the parliament. The protesters demand a new law on the election of people’s deputies, to create an anti-corruption court and abolish the immunity of deputies.
