You're reading: All Ukrainian sailors to stay under arrest in Moscow until April 24

The Lefortovsky District Court in Moscow has extended by three months the arrest of the four remaining Ukrainian sailors detained as a result of the incident in the Kerch Strait.

“The court has extended the arrest of Volodymyr Lysovoy, Vladyslav Kostishyn, Volodymyr Varymez, and Viktor Bespalchenko by three months, until April 24, 2019,” court press secretary Yekaterina Krasnova told Interfax on January 16.

The court respectively extended the arrest of 20 Ukrainian sailors on Jan. 15.
