You're reading: Almost 1.5 million internally displaced persons registered in Ukraine

As of Jan. 9, 1 million 492,100 internally displaced persons are registered in Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported.

“As of January 9, 2017, according to the structural subdivisions of the social protection of the population of the regional and Kyiv city state administrations, 1 million 492,100 IDPs, or 1 million 219,002 families from Donbas and Crimea were registered,” the press service of the Social Policy Ministry said on Jan. 9.

At the same time, the message does not contain information on the payment of assistance for renting housing and payment of public utilities.

As reported, as of Nov. 27, 1 million 494, 806 IDPs were registered in Ukraine.
