You're reading: Almost 1.5 million internally displaced persons registered in Ukraine

Some 1,494,806 internally displaced persons (IDP) had been registered in Ukraine as of Nov. 27, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has reported.

“According to the social protection departments of the regional and Kyiv city state administrations, 1,494,806 IDPs, or 1,219,467 families, from Donbas and Crimea, had been registered as of Nov. 27, 2017,” the ministry reported on Nov. 27.

About Hr 2.58 billion was allocated for the payment of their housing and utilities.

As reported, there were 1,604,059 IDPs registered in Ukraine as of Oct. 23.
