Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos says that there are almost 50,000 Ukrainian servicemen at the front line in the Joint Forces Operation zone in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

Kryvonos arrived at Kyiv’s Main Military Clinical Hospital for blood donating to wounded Ukrainian soldiers and called on Ukrainians to follow his example, the NSDC press service said.

“While you are thinking about politics, the wounded from the front have been delivered to Kyiv’s military hospital for several days in a row. It’s the sixth year of the war. At the frontline today there are almost 50,000 troops. Do not forget about them. I’ve donated blood for them, and I invite you to do so,” he said.
