Some 20,000 Chinese tourists visited Ukraine in 2016, Ambassador of China to Ukraine Du Wei has reported.
“How many Chinese tourists visited Ukraine last year? According to my information, 20,000 people, which is one-tenth of the total flow of Chinese tourists in the international space,” the official said at a press conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China in Kyiv.
The ambassador also noted that the governments of both countries could make more efforts to increase these figures.
“We expect more benefits from Ukrainian politicians to increase the number of tourists,” he said.
