You're reading: Ambassador of Cyprus to Ukraine visits border of Crimea with mainland Ukraine

On July 27, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus to Ukraine Luis Telemachus arrived in Kherson region on an official visit at the invitation of the representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the representative office said on the Facebook page on July 28.

“The ambassador visited the Kalanchak and Chaplynka entry-exit checkpoints on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, where he met with Deputy Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Mykola Yakymenko and Head of Kherson Regional Council Oleksandr Samoilenko,” the representative office said.

The team of the representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea thanked Telemachus for his consistent support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
