Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov calls on the National Guard of Ukraine to be ready to serve in Donbas and Crimea after the liberation of these territories from occupation.

“As for the National Guard …. The period of false rallies that divert attention will pass, and there will be that phase of our life when you, together with the National Police, will have to enter the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea, freed from occupation. And it will be necessary to prioritize,” he said during the annual final board in Kyiv on Saturday, referring to acting commander of the National Guard Mykola Balan.

“Readiness for these processes is extremely necessary,” the minister added.
