Bomb threat reports at Odesa, Boryspil, Zhuliany airports and at the central train stations of Kyiv and Lviv were made, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has said.

“And, like a cherry on the sundae, we’re getting swamped with bomb threats at Odesa, Boryspil, Zhuliany airports, as well as at the central train stations of Kyiv and Lviv,” he wrote on his Facebook page late on June 19.

Omelyan said that “these reports are most likely fake. Nevertheless, procedures must be adhered to, including evacuations.”

“In most instances, the calls were traced to the occupied territories,” he wrote.

Omelyan apologized for the temporary inconveniences, but “your safety is our number one priority.”
