You're reading: Bookmakers raise stakes on presidency of Hrytsenko after Sadovy’s withdrawal

ElectraWorks Limited (Gibraltar), operating under the bwin sports betting brand, on March 1 raised the bets on the win of Anatoliy Hrytsenko from 21 to 1 to 14 to 1 after another candidate, Andriy Sadovy, on whom the bets were taken with a coefficient of 51 to 1, had removed his candidature in favor of Hrytsenko.

According to bwin’s website, the bets on Zelenskiy’s victory rose from 2.05 to 1 to 2 to 1 that day, that of Poroshenko remained at 2.3 to 1, and the assessment of the chance for a possible presidency of Yulia Tymoshenko dropped again from 5 to 1 to 5.5 to 1.

According to the Ukrainian operator Favorit Sport, the bets on Hrytsenko after Sadovy’s statement (his presidency was estimated at 300 to 1) also increased to 30 to 1, catching up with the bets on Yuriy Boiko.

The estimation of Poroshenko’s chances of becoming the next president remains the same at 1.55 to 1, whereas that for Zelensky rose to 2.7 from 2.8 to 1. As for the bets on the victory of the Batkivschyna leader in the presidential race, the Ukrainian operator also reduced them to 6 from 5.5 to 1.
