You're reading: Border service reports some 2,555 Ukrainians travel visa-free to EU in first 42 hours

Some 2,555 Ukrainian citizens were able to use their right to visa-free travel to the European Union from 00:00 on June 11, to 18:00 on June 12, the State Border Service of Ukraine has reported.

Some 20,411 Ukrainian citizens used their brand new biometric passports to cross the border, of them, 2,555 enjoyed the visa-free regime, the service’s media liaison office told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Four people were refused the entry, as it was revealed during passport control that they had violated the terms of stay in the EU countries,” the source said.
