You're reading: Boryspil airport raises passenger traffic by 15.4% in two months of 2020

Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) in January-February increased passenger traffic by 15.4% compared to January-February 2019, to 1.950 million people.

The press service of the enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine that on international flights this indicator amounted to 1.796 million people for the reporting period (an increase of 16.6%), on domestic flights some 154,100 (3.1% more).

The number of flights for the first two months amounted to 14,600 (2.5% more) for arrival/departure, in particular 12,700 international flights (3.7% more), and 1,851 domestic flights (4.8% less).

In February, passenger traffic in the airport amounted to 900,600 people, which is 13.5% more than in February 2019. At the same time, this figure on international flights amounted to 827,500 people (14.3% more), and on domestic flights some 73,100 people (5.3% more).

The number of flights in February amounted to 6,945 (up by 3.9%), in particular 6,029 international (4.2% more), and 916 domestic (up by 2.3%).
