State-owned enterprise Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv), the largest airport of the country, saw a 77.7 percent rise in net profit in January-June 2017 year-over-year, to Hr 951.2 million.

According to a financial report of the airport, its net revenue in January-June grew by 30 percent, to Hr 1.87 billion.

As reported, the financial plan of the airport for 2017 says that the airport could receive Hr 1.508 billion of profit in 2017 (8.8 percent more than the figure for 2016).

According to the financial plan, the net income of Boryspil airport this year would amount to Hr 3.929 billion, which is 17 percent more than in 2016. EBITDA is expected to reach Hr 2.629 billion (7.2 percent more).

Passenger flow is expected at 10.6 million people, which is 18 percent more than the figure in 2016.

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport of Ukraine. The airport has two runways: one with a length of 4,000 meters and a width of 60 meters, and the second with a length of 3,500 meters and a width of 63 meters. Four passenger terminals, postal and cargo complexes are located on the territory of the airport.
