You're reading: British instructors will train Ukrainian military servicemen in tactical logistics

A course for tactical training of fuel transportation logistics will be conducted in Mykolaiv at Base 81 of a center for ensuring fuel supplies to the rear of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, the press service of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has said.

The course for Ukrainian troops will be conducted by military instructors from the British armed forces. It lasts two weeks. During this time British instructors will share their experience in logistics supply for military units and formations carrying out tasks based on experience gained in Iraq and Afghanistan, the press release says.

“The course consists of several modules. Ukrainian servicemen will study maneuvers during column movements, at checkpoints and assembly point, Modules include defending the column during the day and at night, as well as defending forces in contact with the enemy. Special attention will be paid to anti-mine safety and first aid in the event of injury,” the press release says.

Practical activities are planned, in addition to theoretical training.

Ukrainian soldiers at the end of the course will be tested in order to test their knowledge of the subjects taught.
