The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the conduct of All-Ukrainian Population Census in 2023. The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday.

It is reported that the decision to conduct All-Ukrainian census was made taking into account the political and economic situation in the country.

As reported, in January 2020, the former Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Dmytro Dubilet reported the data of the electronic census, according to which the population of Ukraine was 37 million 289,000 people (as of December 1, 2019). The scoring system used for the pilot census has drawn criticism.
