The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the creation of a state institution, dubbed “Ukrainian Institute,” for the presentation of Ukraine abroad and burnishing the image of the country abroad.

The relevant decision was taken at a government meeting held on Wednesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman read the decision.

The Cabinet agreed with the Foreign Ministry request to create the institute under the aegis of the Foreign Ministry.

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, who accompanied Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on his visit to the U.S., thanked his colleagues for approving the measure.

“We continue working, so that the Ukrainian Institute will effectively and systemically tell the world about modern Ukraine,” Klimkin wrote on his Twitter microblog on Wednesday.
