You're reading: Cabinet approves four independent members of Ukrzaliznytsia’s supervisory board

According to a posting on the website of the government, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the candidates at a meeting on June 20 after Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Sayenko presented them after a tender held by the nomination committee.

The government approved Director of UkraineInvest Daniel Bilka, Head of the deputy prime minister service, a member of the supervisory board of Trunk Gas Pipelines of Ukraine Kostantyn Marievych and Ivan Yurik who earlier headed a representative office of Blackstone in Ukraine, as members of the supervisory board representing the state.

Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the EBRD Francis Malige said that was surprised by the quality of preparatory work conducted by the selected recruiter.

Sayenko said that the renewed supervisory board will start working in several days.

“We are working with Ukrenergo to create the professional supervisory board there. We are working with Ukrposhta and have some arrangements with it,” he said.
