You're reading: Cabinet approves plan of concept for increasing confidence of Ukrainians in NATO

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a plan of measures to implement the concept of improving public awareness on the issues of Euro-Atlantic integration for 2018.

According to a report posted on the website of Ukraine’s State Television and Radio Broadcasting Committee on February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the respective order at its meeting.

It notes that the main goal of the plan is to increase the level of support by Ukrainian citizens for the state policy in the field of Euro-Atlantic integration and the level of confidence in NATO as an institution that plays a key role in strengthening international security.

According to the report, the main events to be held in 2018 with the participation of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Committee, the Information Policy Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, regional state administrations and Kyiv City State Administration, and public associations include an information and awareness-raising campaign “NATO-Ukraine. Security. Protection. Stability” and “Ukraine-NATO Cooperation as a Catalyst for Reforms.”
