You're reading: CEC launches new website

On September 3, the Central Election Commission (CEC) launched a new website, which will completely replace the previous one, created back in 2004, and should become the main communication channel of the Commission, the CEC press service said.

“The structure of the new resource provides access to the main sections of information that were contained in the previous version. However, the search procedure is much easier. So, in addition to information about the Commission and its activities, users will be able to find relevant regulations, find out any information about the elections, submit electronic appeals and much more. This will be facilitated by a modern website interface that is adaptive to all mobile devices,” it said on Sept. 3.

“Launching a new CEC website was one of the many priorities of the new Commission in terms of communication with voters. We were faced with the task of developing a simple structure and convenient navigation. And most importantly, making the website responsive and taking into account all the wishes and suggestions of a huge number of users who understood that the previous website is already too outdated for the modern world,” said Tetiana Slipachuk, the chairman of the CEC.

The new CEC website was developed with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).

The website will work in test mode in the nearest time.
