Enhanced control measures were introduced at checkpoints on the contact line in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and on the administrative border between Kherson region and the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, head of the liaison department of Ukraine’s State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko has said.

“Our units there [in Donetsk and Luhansk] are also in the same degree of combat readiness, operating as part of Joint Forces Operation (JFO). There are also enhanced control measures implemented. At the checkpoints on the administrative border with Crimea, all units are also in full combat readiness,” Demchenko told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
