The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Communication Strategy in the sphere of preventing and combating corruption for the period until 2020.
The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on August 23. Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman read it out among the accepted ones by the government without discussion, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
According to the draft decision, the main objectives of the development of the sphere of anti-corruption communications until 2020 are generating confidence in the state anti-corruption policy, coordinate objective informing of the society about the anti-corruption reform, and “zero tolerance” for corruption.
The Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Information Policy jointly with the interested central executive authorities to submit a plan of measures to implement the strategy within a month.
