You're reading: Competition agency permits Yaroslavsky to build up controlling stake in INGO Ukraine insurer

Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee has permitted Lovington Holdings Limited (Cyprus), part of DCH Group of businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, to increase a stake in private joint-stock company INGO Ukraine insurance company (Kyiv) from 24.99% to over 50%, the committee said on Friday.

As reported, in May DCH completed formal procedures for closing a deal to purchase a 25% stake in INGO Ukraine insurer. Subsequently, DCH intended to increase its stake in the company to 100%.

INGO Ukraine has been working in the market for 23 years. It has 28 licenses for various types of compulsory and voluntary insurance, provides insurance services to corporate and retail customers.
