You're reading: Constitutional Court to hold special session to consider appeal of SBI investigator

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine will meet on March 17 for a special plenary session to consider the appeal of an investigator from the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), the court said.

“The head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine issued an order on March 9, 2021 […] on the convening of a special plenary session of the Constitutional Court on March 17, 2021,” the court said in a statement on its website.

The Constitutional Court released a scanned copy of the order signed by Oleksandr Tupytsky as the head of the court. According to the document a special plenary session is convened for March 9 “to consider the appeal of the investigator, deputy head of the department for the investigation of crimes committed due to mass protests in 2013-2014 of the State Bureau of Investigations Artem Yablonsky.”

The special plenary session starts at 14:30.
