Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Gyunduz Mamedov and Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine Jennes de Mol have discussed ways of further cooperation within the investigation into the air crash over the occupied territory of Donbas.

“Ukraine coordinates its work with its partners in the Joint Investigation Team (JIT). We are doing the utmost to identify everyone involved in this crime. The goal of the further investigation is to identify the crewmembers of the Buk missile system and the officials who ordered to aim the missile system at Ukraine,” the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine (PGO) said quoting Mamedov on August 11 evening.

The parties also discussed the filing of a lawsuit by the Netherlands to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) against Russia for the destruction of the plane. Mamedov said that if Ukraine decides to join the appeal, the PGO will provide all necessary information.
