The Moscow Lefortovsky District Court has extended the arrest of Denis Hrytsenko, the commander of the 24 Ukrainian sailors detained as a result of last fall’s incident in the Kerch Strait, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courtroom.

“The court has extended Hrytsenko’s arrest by three months, until July 24, 2019,” court press secretary Ksenia Pervovlasenko told Interfax.

The arrests of Ukrainian Security Service officer Andriy Drach and two sailors; Viacheslav Zynchenko and Mykhailo Vlasiuk, have also been extended for the same period.
