“SBU employees found that in April 2014, a priest from a church in Luhanks’ Novoaidar district joined the ranks of terrorists,” the SBU’s press center said on Tuesday, adding the cleric organized the blocking of the highway to Luhansk, hindering movement of Anti-Terrorist Operation equipment.

“The court found the suspect guilty of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. The sentence has entered into force. The beginning of the term of execution of the sentence will be calculated from the day of his arrest,” the court said.

The convict has been put on the wanted list.
