You're reading: Court in Kyiv reschedules hearing on Yanukovych’s high treason case

Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv has rescheduled the meeting on the case of high treason of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych for Feb. 7 because of the business trip of the defendant’s lawyers.

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting on Jan. 31. “To announce a break until 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 7,” the presiding judge announced.

According to the schedule, one more meeting was to be held this week on Feb. 1.
