Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court on Saturday released FEMEN activist Anzhelina Diash on her own recognizance at day after she interrupted a document signing ceremony between Belarusian and Ukrainian presidents at Ukraine’s Presidential Administration, Diash’s lawyer Yarsolav Yatsenko has said.

“Anzhelina was released on her personal recognizance. She turned over her foreign passport,” Yatsenko said on his Facebook page.

As earlier reported, policemen and officials from the Ukrainian state guard directorate on July 21 arrested Diash, who ripped off her jacket at the Presidential Administration and yelled, “Long live, Belarus!” and “Put a stop to dictatorship.”
