The Kherson city court has ruled to seize the property of RIA Novosti Ukraine editor-in-chief Kirill Vyshynsky, press secretary of the Crimean prosecutor’s office Tatyana Tikhonchik told Interfax-Ukraine.

“The Kherson city court seized his apartment, two cars and property seized during authorized searches,” Tikhonchik said.

Vyshynsky was detained in Kyiv on May 15, 2018, on suspicion of treason.

On May 16, Vyshynsky was brought to Kherson where the court on May 17 remanded him in custody until July 13.

On July 11, the Kherson City Court extended the detention of Vyshinsky for another 60 days – until September 13.
