  • Oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky returned to Ukraine on Thursday, after nearly two years of being away. Kolomoisky, who is accused of working with president-elect Volodymyr Zelenskiy owns many strategic assets in Ukraine’s most important sectors.

  • Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s inauguration will take place on May 20, according to a vote by the Verkhovna Rada on May 16. The parliament had been accused of delaying the inauguration due to fears that Zelensky would dissolve the parliament and schedule a snap election. The deadline to do so is May 27.
