Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk expects that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will decide on the provision of a new tranche to Ukraine under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement this autumn.

Ukraine could receive the fifth tranche from the IMG in autumn, he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

On June 23, Director of the IMF Communications Department Gerry Rice said at a press briefing in Washington that there is no issue concerning a new review on Ukraine under the EFF on the agenda of meetings of the IMF Executive Board.

Ukraine’s Alternate Executive Director in the International Monetary Fund Vladyslav Rashkovan said earlier that day that the draft agenda of the IMF board meetings is often sent by the Secretariat to the Executive Directors two or three months prior to the meetings.
