Ukraine’s Finance Ministry is finishing talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) regarding the next credit tranche, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk said in Kyiv on Feb. 6 at a press conference devoted to the results of the ministry’s work in 2016 and plans for 2017.

“We are at the final stages. Technical moments for receiving the next tranche are being discussed,” he said.

Danylyuk said that resumption of cooperation with the IMF is an important signal for foreign investors and partners that Ukraine is on the way of reforms.

“All tranches scheduled for this year are to be received, as this is an important indicator of reforms,” he said.
