You're reading: Defense Ministry reports 2 Ukrainian servicemen wounded in ATO zone on Monday

Two Ukrainian servicemen have been injured in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) area as a result of shelling by illegal armed formations from the beginning of the day on Monday, the press centre of the ATO headquarters has reported in its update as of 18:00.

“Military units of the Russian-terrorist forces continue firing on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire contact line. Since the beginning of the day the militants have attacked Ukrainian defenders 21 times … As a result of the fighting, two servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been injured today,” the update posted on the ATO HQ’s Facebook page says.
