You're reading: Dnipro announces tenders to buy 25 trolleybuses for Hr 141 million

Dniprovsky Electric Transport municipal enterprise (Dnipro) last week announced two tenders to buy 25 new 12-meter low-deck trolleybuses made in 2017 for Hr 141.3 million (VAT included).

According to the ProZorro e-procurement system, at one tender the enterprise wants to buy 13 battery-driven trolleybuses for Hr 74.1 million. Bids can be submitted until September 11. The auction will be held on October 17.

At the second tender the enterprise wants to buy 12 trolleybuses for Hr 67.2 million. Bids can be submitted until September 12. The auction will be held on October 18.

According to the technical conditions of the tenders, trolleybuses must be at least 11.8 meters long and not more than 12.2 meters, completely low-floor, with a passenger capacity of at least 100 people (including 24 seats), adapted for passengers with disabilities.

As reported, Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said that he arranged the purchase of at least 50 trolleybuses using the funds of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
