The campaign to select doctors of primary healthcare entitled “Doctor for Each Family” in the context of the healthcare reform will be rolled out in Kyiv on April 2, the press service of the Kyiv City Administration has reported.

The administration said that at present, Kyiv’s primary healthcare institutions are ready to the start of the campaign.

“To sign the declaration it is necessary to come to the doctor with a passport and identification code, as well as with the phone (for registration in the system).The declaration on behalf of the child can be signed by any parent or guardian with the birth certificate of the small patient,” Director of the Department of Public Health of the Kyiv City Administration Valentyna Ginzburg said.

Each healthcare institution of the primary level has an authorized person to be contacted if any questions related to the choice of a doctor aroused.

The healthcare reform provides that the therapist can serve up to 2,000 patients, the family doctor – 1,800 and the pediatrician – 900.
