The Donetsk regional prosecution service has defined an explosion in Mariupol that killed Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) Col. Oleksandr Kharaberiush as a terror attack.

The SBU officer sustained numerous injuries and burns and died instantly. SBU, prosecution service, and National Police officers are working on the crime scene together with bomb experts, who are identifying the type of the explosive device used to blow up the car.

Detectives of the SBU department in the Donetsk region are conducting the investigation under the Donetsk regional security service’s procedural supervision.
