President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a telephone conversation with President of Poland Andrzej Duda, during which they discussed the situation with the dismantling of the monument to the soldiers of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) near Peremyshl (Poland).

“The President of Ukraine condemned the incident with the dismantling of the Ukrainian monument in the village of Hrushovychi near Peremyshl on April 26. He stressed the unacceptability of mockery of the state symbols of Ukraine and noted that this would require the reaction of the Polish leadership.
