Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ostap Semerak, has said that the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine are fully implementing measures to eliminate the fire in the exclusion zone.
“At the same time, some Russian media are already disseminating false information about the alleged increase in radiation, so I instructed the leadership of the state-running enterprise for the management of the exclusion zone to promptly inform the Ukrainian and world media about the real situation,” Semerak wrote on his Facebook page.
“I ask journalists to be vigilant and not to spread fake news,” he said.
