First contracts on concession of state enterprises could be signed in 2018, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“If everything goes according to plan, next year we will see first concession agreements,” he said.
According to him, a working group including representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the EBRD is drafting a concession bill. At the same time, the project office of the Infrastructure Ministry named Spilno is working on concession projects for three ports: Olvia stevedoring company, Kherson maritime merchant port and Chornomorsk seaport.
