Teams of energy workers have repaired the damaged segments on a power transmission line leading to Avdiyivka, Donetsk region, and connected the city’s grids to a power supply, Ukraine’s Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons said.

“As of 4.00 p.m., power supply to the town of Avdiyivka is restored,” the ministry said on its Twitter page on April 4.

Donetsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Head Pavlo Zhebrivsky confirmed this information on his Facebook page: “Avdiyivka is with electricity now. In the morning, an emergency repair team restored the damaged pylon.”

However, Zhebrivsky noted that Donetsk water purification plant remained out of power.

“There is still some water supply left in the town’s reservoirs. We are feeding water into the buildings as scheduled,” he added.
