Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has held a telephone conversation with Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets, during which he informed his interlocutor in detail about the aggravation of the security situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border by Russia, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported on April 8.

It is noted that Kuleba also told the Estonian diplomat about Moscow’s systemic actions and statements aimed at escalating military tensions and undermining diplomatic efforts to peacefully resolve the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.

“The Minister assured of Estonia’s further firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of our state,” the message reads.

It also notes that the leaders of the Ukrainian and Estonian diplomacy unanimously condemned the aggravation of the security situation by Russia and confirmed their readiness for joint actions in the UN, OSCE and other international organizations in order to consolidate effective international support for Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.

“Kuleba separately greeted the readiness of the Estonian side for close cooperation in preparation for the summit of the inauguration of the Crimean platform in Kyiv in August this year,” the Foreign Ministry said.
